“I smell sex all over you”

‘COSMOPOLIS’ is an upcoming drama film starring Robert Pattinson and directed by David Cronenberg. It is based on the novel of the same name by Don DeLillo. The film has been selected to compete for the Palme d’Or at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

‘COSMOPOLIS’ is the story of Eric Packer (Robert Pattinson), a 28 year old multi-billionaire asset manager who makes a journey across midtown Manhattan in his soundproofed limo filled with television screens and computer monitors, bulletproofed and floored with Carrara marble.

On this day he is a man with two missions… To intensely watch his colossal bet against the yen, and to get a haircut across town. Along the way he’s stalled in traffic by a hip-hop star’s funeral, the presidential motorcade, and violent anarchists. As the limo ride continues, Eric gets a variety of visitors on his trek, including experts on security, technology, finance, and a few sexual partners. The world is closing in around him as his future becomes increasingly uncertain causing his paranoia to intensify during the course of this cross-town odyssey .
