Subtitles, Please.

Regal Entertainment Group has just announced that they will be introducing these “Access Glasses” to nearly all of their 500+ digital theaters in the US this year. Regal partnered with SONY Entertainment to create the subtitle glasses that will work in 2D and 3D.

These futuristic lenses provide closed-captioned text in six different languages, as well as descriptive audio when paired with headphones.

Some theaters will offer the glasses this month, while the rest of the glasses should hit theaters by the first quarter of 2013.
