Amanda Seyfried Joins “While We’re Young”

Amanda Seyfried will join Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts in the upcoming film., “While We’re Young.” The movie is scheduled to begin filming in New York this Fall.

The comedy will follow a documentary filmmaker played by Stiller, and his wife. Amanda Seyfried will play the love interest to Adam Driver’s character in the film.

Further details regarding the film have yet to be released by the production company.

He Got Paid How Much For ‘The Hangover 3?’

Ken Jeong has come a long way from his doctor days. He made his first appearance as the hilarious OBGYN in “Knocked Up.”

News reports state that the famed actor earned $5 million for the third rendition of “The Hangover.” The amount is a lot, but not too shocking considering he certainly makes the theater laugh.

The third film is expected to pull in close to $73 million its opening weekend.

This One’s For the Grads

To save his job as an employment agent, former musician William (Willie K) must get a job for Merton (EicGilliom), a bumbling man-child who surfs every day in a place where there are no waves.

Meanwhile, William’s long-time girlfriend, Laura (Carolyn Omine), cooks up a half0baked scheme to drag her man to the alter. Fueling the con is a colourful cast of islanders including a traffic cop, (Augie T), a tourist (Jake Shimabukuro) and cameos by Pat Simmons of the Doobie Brothers and Willie Nelson.

Melissa McCarthy Fires Extra on Set

Melissa McCarthy took action on the set of “Tammy” when one of the extras got a little too close with her child.

According to reports from TMZ, the extra forcefully “grabbed” McCarthy’s daughter on set. “Tammy” is a comedy starring McCarthy about a woman who is forced to take a road trip with her alcoholic grandmother.

Melissa McCarthy was saddened by her need to take action on the set while filming her movie. McCarthy’s reps have not released any further details regarding the incident.

A spoof on Hollywood, “Not Another Not Another Movie” is a guaranteed knee-slapper. When Sunshine Studios realizes that it is steps away from bankruptcy, the gang teams up to produce a single movie with the hopes of putting the studio in the green again.

Travolta to Move Forward with Gotti Biopic

“Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father” is finally hitting the production stages. Since 2010, John Gotti has been working diligently to get the story of his father to the big screen, and now it is finally happening.

John Travolta is set to play Gotti in the film, alongside his actually wife who will play Victoria Gotti. Anthony Hopkins will also be a part of the gang.

The latest announcements about the film were made at Cannes this year. The film is scheduled to begin filming in New York this September.

 

 

‘Star Trek: Into Darkness’ Tops the Charts

‘Star Trek: Into Darkness’ hit the top of the box office this weekend. The movie earned $84.1 million, falling just below the $100 million expectations that Paramount Pictures hoped to obtain.

‘Iron Man 3′ took the second place slot, bringing its total gross to $337.1 million.

Baz Luhrmann’s ‘The Great Gatsby’ slipped to third place, adding $35.2 million to its gross total. Due to mixed reviews, the film has yet to match its reported budget of $105 million.
