WATCH: International Trailer for ‘HITCHCOCK’ With New Footage

A new international trailer for ‘Hitchcock’ featuring new footage from the film has been released.  Directed by Sacha Gervasi, Anthony Hopkins takes on the lead role of Alfred Hitchcock, Helen Mirren plays his wife Alma, Scarlett Johansson plays Janet Leigh, Ralph Macchio is Joe Stefano, Jessica Biel is Vera Miles and James D’Arcy will play Anthony Perkins.  Yeah, we said Ralph Macchio – the same kid from ‘The Karate Kid’!

The movie is based on the book Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho by Stephen Rebello, and it tells the behind the scenes story of the making of Hitchcock’s classic horror film ‘Psycho’, including a look into his personal life with wife Alma.

Jessica Biel Joins Scarlett Johansson in Making of Psycho Film

Jessica Biel, 30, just signed on to the cast of the movie-making biopic ‘Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho’ as actress Vera Miles who plays Lila Crane in the original 1960 horror classic. Biel will be joining other great actors including Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock, Helen Mirren as his wife, James D’Arcy as Anthony Perkins, and Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, who played Marion Crane, the well-known shower murder victim. NICE!

The movie is not a remake of the original. Instead it’s based on a book by Stephen Rebello detailing Alfred Hitchcock’s rough start, personality, and directorial techniques at the pinnacle of his career.
