Brad Pitt Crashes at the Box Office

Brad Pitt’s “Killing Them Softly” sure took a beating at the box office this weekend. The film took home an embarrassing $7 million, making it Brad Pitt’s worst live-action release.

“Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 2″ continued its domination at the box office, claiming the number one spot for the third week in a row. The film took home an additional $17.4 million this weekend, bringing the domestic earnings to $254.6 million.

“Skyfall” and “Lincoln” took the second and third place slots with $17 and $13.5 million.

Just released is another trailer with new footage for Andrew Dominik’s hitman flick ‘Killing Them Softly’, starring Brad Pitt.  What do you think?

The story follows Jackie Cogan (Brad Pitt), who’s job is to track down the people who ripped off a mob-protected poker game.  Ray Liotta is the hustler running the poker game, Vincent Curatola plays an ex-con looking for revenge, Richard Jenkins plays a shady lawyer, and James Gandolfini plays an alcoholic hit man.

There’s a brand new international trailer for Brad Pitt’s mob flick ‘Killing Them Softly’ directed by Andrew Dominik.

The story follows Jackie Cogan (Brad Pitt), who’s job is to track down the people who ripped off a mob-protected poker game.  Ray Liotta is the hustler running the poker game, Vincent Curatola plays an ex-con looking for revenge, Richard Jenkins plays a shady lawyer, and James Gandolfini plays an alcoholic hit man.

Adapted from the novel by George V. Higgins, Brad Pitt stars as Jackie Cogan, a professional enforcer who investigates a heist that went down during a mob-protected poker game in New Orleans.

And what a cast!… The film also features Scoot McNairy (Monsters), Ben Mendelsohn (Animal Kingdom), Ray Liotta (Goodfellas), Richard Jenkins (The Visitor), with James Gandolfini (The Sopranos), Vincent Curatola, Max Casella and Sam Shepard among others.
