Stephen Colbert will be making an appearance in Peter Jackson’s, “The Hobbit.”
The ‘Colbert Report’ host hasn’t officially confirmed his appearance in the film. When asked about his role, Stephen only responds by saying “could be!” He does, however, admit to visiting the film’s set in New Zealand.
Colbert professed his love for the books to Playboy by saying, “In some ways it was about escape. I think there’s absolute truth in escaping the reality of your present predicament. And that can just be about being young. It doesn’t have to be tragedy. There’s a tragedy to being 13. Things are changing. Friends are changing. Your body is changing. You need to escape that.”
Until the film’s release in December, fans can be excited about the possibility of seeing Colbert on the silver screen for the trilogy.
