Scarlett Johansson is on track to play the first lady in the upcoming biopic, “Rodham.” The movie tells the story of Hillary Clinton, who was always torn between her professional and personal lives.
Jessica Chastain, Amanda Seyfried, and Reese Witherspoon are all in the running for the role as well, but don’t seem to stand a chance against Johannson.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be hitting the silver screen pretty soon. Her upcoming biopic is entitled “Rodham,” and it tells the story of the former first lady’s ability to balance her personal and professional life.
The film is currently on Hollywood’s Black List, a list of unproduced scripts that was once home to ‘Django Unchained.’
Screenwriter Young Il Kim revealed to Politico,” The film is about a journey of a woman who was torn between her personal desires and her professional ambition — both literally pulled her thousands of miles apart, because Bill did not want to leave Arkansas, and she did not want to leave Washington, D.C.”
Moviegoers are looking forward to seeing a softer side of Clinton, with a scene that will feature her singing “You’re So Vain” while getting ready in the morning.
Bill Clinton and Martin Scorsese will join forces soon to bring us a documentary about the 42nd president of the United States.
“A towering figure who remains a major voice in world issues, President Clinton continues to shape the political dialogue both here and around the world,” Scorsese recently stated.
The film will air on HBO and will highlight Clinton’s presidency, as well as his continued efforts in politics. This will be the second time that the network airs a movie about a president. Earlier this year, they released “41″ about George H.W. Bush.
