Home Run at the Box Office

The Jackie Robinson biopic, “42″ hit a homerun at the box office this weekend. The film took first place this weekend, earning $27.5 million.

“Scary Movie 5″ also opened this weekend with $15.15 million. The fifth film of the franchise stars Lindsay Lohan, Ashley Tisdale, and Charlie Sheen.

“The Croods” held on to the number three spot, making it the third consecutive weekend that the film has made the top three. The animated movie took in $13.3 at the box office this weekend.

‘Scary Movie 5′ Trailer

Remember when we told you that Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen were teaming up for what would be the scariest “Scary Movie” ever? Well, the trailer for the movie has finally arrived and it is just as scary as we expected.

Also featuring Ashley Tisdale and a few other familiar faces, the “Scary Movie 5″ trailer focuses on scenes from “Paranormal Activity 4.”

Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen Team Up for New Movie

Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan have both agreed to make an appearance in Scary Movie 5. Yup, Hollywood’s biggest troublemakers are at it again!

Lohan has just finished filming Liz and Dick, a Lifetime movie about the iconic Elizabeth Taylor. The troubled star reportedly passed out on the set due to exhaustion.

Meanwhile, Sheen will return for the fifth installment, despite being killed off in Scary Movie 4.

Anna Faris has decided to keep her number at four and will not be returning for the fifth film.

As for “Shee-han,” the film will begin shooting in Atlanta soon.

The reboot is set to hit theaters January 11, 2013.
