BIGSTAR's free trial provides the user with 30 days of 24/7 access to our Streaming membership plan at no cost, allowing you access to thousands of our awesome titles on almost any device that is internet-ready.
It does NOT include access to the After Dark section or any movie rentals.
If you already have a basic BIGSTAR account, you can redeem your free trial by logging in to your BIGSTAR account at www.bigstar.tv. Click on:
MY ACCOUNT --> MY SETTINGS
at the top of the homepage and locate the "MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION" section. Select the CHANGE link, and select the FREE Trial from the dropdown menu to begin your 30 day free trial.
If you do not have a BIGSTAR account, select the the option to Sign Up. Upon entering your e-mail and password information, you will be prompted to "Choose a Plan." Select the BIGSTAR Streaming plan, which comes with a 30 day free trial. Follow the prompts to get your trial started.
Your credit card information serves as an identifier, which helps verify your identity. BIGSTAR securely keeps your credit card information on file, so your services are not interrupted should you choose to keep your BIGSTAR membership.
Upon signing up for our 30 day free trial or during purchase of a prepaid membership, your credit card is authorized but not charged; your financial institution may or may not show this authorization, however this $1 authorization will disappear within a few days.
In some cases, it could take up to 30 days for this charge to drop. Should you cancel your membership before the end of your 30 day trial, your credit card will not be charged. If you love our service and decide to keep your account, you do not have to take any action and your membership will continue as normal.
We're sorry to hear you want to cancel your account. If you're sure about canceling your BIGSTAR account, log in at http://www.bigstar.tv and enter your log in information. Once done, click on:
MY ACCOUNT -->MY SETTINGS
Locate the section labeled MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION. Select the CANCEL MEMBERSHIP link to cancel your account. If you don't see a CANCEL MEMBERSHIP link and you see it says BASIC (Free, no movie streaming) you do not have a free trial, have no movie access, and will not be billed. If you were not aware of this and want to take advantage of the free trial, click on the CHANGE link to upgrade to the Free Trial.
Most likely you don't have a free trial and your account is only a Basic Account. Thus, you have no movie streaming and will not be billed. This should be displayed clearly in the MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION section.
If it says "CANCEL PENDING" this is because a payment has been made and you still have some time left before your month is up. However, as soon as the next bill date occurs, your membership will automatically expire and you will not be billed again until you sign back up for an active membership plan.

After your free trial is up the system will automatically charge you for the next term. If you have upgraded to after dark, or any other prepaid plan this will charge you at the moment of upgrading for the full amount and start that plan immediately.
If you decide you do not like the service, simply cancel before the 30 days are up and you will not be charged.
