Description
Situationist International was founded by Cosio d’Arroscia on 28th July 1957. Seven apostles of the “revolution-as-a-work-of-art” changed the destinies of a continent. One of the seven apostles was Pinot Gallizio and he was a pharmacist. Pinot the fisherman, , partisan, archeologist, pear wholesaler, maker of sweets, aroma specialist and alchemist. Histrionic Pinot, the brilliant experimenter. From the testimony of surviving “expelled” Situationists - Ralph Rumney, Piero Simondo, Giors Melanotte – and the recollections of Milva and Marta Lonzi, a “dérive” is attempted through the life of Pinot Gallizio, inventor of “industrial painting” and friend of the gypsies.
