THE MARTIAL ARTIST was conceived and created as a student film project at the Art Institute of Portland. While Will led the project, every element of the production including the cast and crew on this movie was provided by students, friends and faculty of the Art Institute. The film is a light hearted, cartoon mix of live action and illustrations come to life. This is a story of a talented young illustrator and graphic ...morenovelist with a bad job and a terrible boss, who discovers a “special pen” on his way to work one morning. He soon discovers that what he draws seems to actually happen in real life. He starts to play with this strange phenomenon – at first it seems fun. Soon he gets in too deep and what happens in his graphic novel begins to blur with his real life as he becomes the Martial Artist. ...hide
